Since 2012
The White City Garden Club is a charitable, not-for-profit membership organization founded in 2012 by a small group of avid gardeners.
Sprouting from small roots we have grown and evolved into a healthy vibrant club.
We promote horticulture education, gardening activity and community.
WCGC coordinates the planning, planting and weeding of two community flower beds and approximately 40 planters distributed throughout our community.
Membership-driven, the WCGC provides a place where all “greening” enthusiasts, from novice gardeners to experienced horticulturists and purely-for-pleasure observers, can pursue their horticultural interests
Empowering Others
The WCGC is governed and led by a volunteer board of directors, comprised of WCGC members, who provide direction, leadership and quality programming for the direct benefit of the membership and our local community. As as non-profit entity, the WCGC is governed by by-laws and governance statutes that complement and enable the Board of Directors to deliver on the WCGC mandate. Our by-laws govern our organizational behaviour and foster an open and transparent environment upon which our mandate is achieved.
